Method of Induction -application, along with a 3 generation pedigree and picture, will be submitted to the Chairperson for verification and approval - all dogs accepted into the Honour Roll shall be: -nominated and seconded by members in good standing with the Club - deceased and/or living dogs are eligible; and in the case of living dogs, points may be added even after they have been entered on to the Honour Roll There shall be 5 different categories for the Honour Roll: - a conformation dog of merit - a working dog of merit - a stud dog/brood bitch of merit - a dog who gets any two dogs of merit, is put on the Honour Roll - Gold Level - a dog who gets all three dogs of merit, is put on the Honour Roll - Platinum Level Conformation Dog of Merit - needs 12 points - all-breed BIS = 10 pts. - all-breed BPIS = 4 pts. - conformation title from anywhere = 4 pts. each - puppy group = 2 pts. - any of the top 5 Mastiffs in Canada as according to Dogs In Canada - 100 - 500 = 2 pts.; 501 - 800 = 4 pts.; 801 - 1500 = 6 pts.; 1501 - 2000 = 8 pts.; 2001 + = 10 pts. - BOB/BOS in any Specialty - 10 - 20 dogs = 2 pts.; 21 - 40 = 4 pts.; 41 - 60 = 6 pts.; 61 - 80 = 8 pts.; 81 + = 10 pts. - any group placement - up to 50 dogs in group = 2 pts; 51 - 100 = 4 pts.; 101 - 150 = 6 pts.; 151 - 200 = 8 pts.; 201 + = 10 pts. A group 1st gets an additional 2 pts. - any type of historic first gets 5 pts. Working Dog of Merit - needs 8 points - a HIT with a score of over 190 = 5 pts. - an obedience title with an average score of 190 or better = 5 pts. - the #1 obedience Mastiff as according to Dogs In Canada = 4 pts. - obedience title = 4 pts., with each higher achieving title getting an additional 2 pts. (cannot be used with av. score of 190 or better) i.e. CD = 4 pts.; CDX another 2 pts., etc. - draft dog title as above - agility title as above - tracking title as above - rally obedience title as above - any type of historic first gets 5 pts. Stud Dog/Brood Bitch of Merit - prior to 2002 only need 20 points, but there must be some points coming from the health testing; after 2002 need 30 points, but MUST have hips, elbows and PRA, unless they have been given an exemption by the Executive - a stud dog with 10 or more progeny with any type of title and/or group placement (a dog with multiple titles and/or group placements can only have them count once, but can have a title and a group placement count as two. i.e. Cdn/Int Ch Any Dog, CD with 5 group placements has one title and one group placement count for a total of two towards the needed 10) = 10 pts. - a brood bitch with 5 or more progeny..... - all-breed BIS progeny = 5 pts. - a CGN, CGC, TDI or TT = 4 pts. (only one will count) - a National Specialty BOB/BOS progeny winner = 2 pts. - the top (#1) conformation Mastiff progeny for a year as according to Dogs In Canada (if over 100 pts.) = 2 pts. - the top obedience Mastiff for a year as according to DIC = 2 pts - stud dog/brood bitch winner from a Specialty (with more than one entry) = 2 pts. - any type of historic first gets 5 pts. - hips, elbows and PRA tested clear = 10 pts. - hips or elbows tested clear by themselves = 2 pts each - PRA tested clear by itself = 4 pts. - PRA clear by parentage = 3 pts. - CERF tested clear after the age of 2 years old = 4 pts. - heart clear after the age of two years old = 4 pts. - cystinuria clear = 2 pts. - thyroid, vWD or patella clear = 1 pt each - for every pup that tests clear for hips, elbows and PRA (must be all 3) = 2 pts. **(explanation - the division in the years is due to the PRA test only becoming available in June of 2001) Start sending in your nominations to myself, Bev Molloy, 197 Durham Rd. 39, Zephyr, Ont., L0E 1T0 or e-mail to bev.pat.molloy@ Yours, Bev Molloy Banda Mastiffs (Perm.
