Please keep in mind that CMC Rescue is run by volunteers, out of our homes. We do not have a shelter or kennel facility. We are involved in rescue because we love the breed. However, we also have homes, families, dogs, jobs, travel and outside hobbies/interests. We work our rescue activities around busy schedules, so please be patient and realistic about timelines for returning calls or emails.

Please note - unless you are provided with registration papers, we cannot guarantee that any mastiff in rescue is purebred.  An adoption fee may apply in certain cases, depending on costs for medical care, transportation, etc.

Fate is 19 month old, spayed girl looking for a new home due to her owner becoming ill. She is a French x Italian mastiff cross (about 24" tall) located in Oakville, Ontario.

She in an indoor dog, that walks fairly well on a leash. She is housetrained and comfortable in a crate. She has attended obedience classes and knows come, stay, up, down and roll over. She has not had much contact with children, but seems okay with them when out on walks. She greets other dogs in a friendly manner. Is scared of loud noises and can jump up when greeting new people. She has not had much contact with cats, is very curious about them. She travels well in a vehicle.

Fate is a very curious, loving dog.
